Office is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to drive efficiency and innovation throughout the Office automation infrastructure design, operations and services. The primary role of this position is to provide engineering services, technical analysis, solution design and implementation and an ongoing support system for our many customers and their business critical problems. Job Responsibilities:
* Automate - Design solutions to reduce risks in manual tasks and drive efficiency through scalable and stable network/server/storage environments supporting test and automation infrastructure
* Deliver - Deploy and Operate large scale systems with near 100% reliability utilizing consistent processes and industry best practices
* Optimize and innovate - Help define and implement health/performance monitoring, tuning and optimization tactics and implement tools to manage ongoing support
* Analyze trends - Provide systems statistical trending and analysis, server capacity and planning
* Evaluate systems and technology - Assess new systems designs and technical strategies
Requirements:
* 7+ years experience with server operating system and services (Win 2008,2012, AD, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS, IIS, NLB, Failover Clustering, Hyper-V)
* 5+ years experience with storage architecture design, implementation and support (SAN/NAS/DAS, FC,FCOE,iSCSI)
* 5+ years experience with network topology design, implementation and support
* 4+ years experience with server/client system management (SCOM, SCCM, SCVMM, SCSM, SCORCH)
* Ability to automate service deployment/configuration, obtain health and usage stats through administrative scripting such as PowerShell, VBScript, C#
The ideal candidate will have these skills:
* Customer service excellence by understanding and drawing out customers business needs and identifying appropriate technical solutions
* Passion for technology, continually driving ingenuity forward and able to quickly adopt and apply new technology to solve complex problems
* Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in accordance with high level objectives/projects and cross team collaboration
* High level of motivation, self-starter; excellent at follow-up, and ability to identify business opportunities and deliver the solution, all while working within a team structure
* Excellent written and oral communication skills required; Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences including engineers, executive management and customers.
* Understanding of IT Security best practices and MOF/ITIL is a plus
